A Peek Into The Storyline
As the name suggests Descendants, the next generation of world-famous Disney villains like Maleficent, Jafar, and others work together to help everybody on the island to successfully exit it. The movie began when Belle and the Beast, our famous couple, tied the knot by getting married. They together decide to create a new Kingdom and ban all the villains from an island with great magic barriers. On that Island, magic doesn’t work and all the villains have to live there with no other option.
Wondering how the children got out? After twenty years of the creation of The Island, a few children are invited by Belle and The Beats’ son to attend a prestigious university to gain knowledge and complete their education.
The chosen ones are Carlos who is the son of Cruella De Vil known from 101 Dalmatians Jay the son of the famous villain from Aladin Jafar, Evie the daughter of the Evil Queen from the well-known fairytale snow-white and Mal the daughter of the most popular Villain Maleficent. When they reach the university they meet children from the royal kingdoms.
Casting Choices We Can Expect
The cast is expected to remain the same in part 4 as well with minor changes and some new roles; those details aren’t available yet.
The first lead role is of Mal, Maleficent’s Daughter played by the beautiful Dove Cameron which attracted many views as people wanted to see her in the role of a villain. The other lead roles were by Cameron Boyce who is sadly no more so there will be a replacement for Carlos, Evie by Sofia Carson who is famously known for the series Austin and Ally, and last but not least the role of Jay played by Booboo Stewart.
Other roles include Ben who was played by Mitchell Hope. Fairy godmother from the famous fairytale Cinderella played by Melanie Paxson she was the perfect fit and excellently did the role, her daughter Jane was played by Brenna.
Roles of the Princesses Children were played by Sarah as Audrey who was the daughter of a princess Aurora, Chad Charming the son of Cinderella played by Jedidiah, and Lonnie the child of the fearless Mulan played by Dianne Dong. There were several other side roles in the movie as well.
When Can We Expect The Release
It is expected to be released in 2024 in spring all around the world. Fans are super excited about it and to know more details about part 4.
Summing It Up
It is confirmed that there will be part 4 of the Descendants with old as well as new characters but many different adventures. After the death of Carlos people are in a dilemma if that character will stay in the movie or not and who will be his replacement if they decide to keep the character active.
