The world of Space Dandy is similar to the one Cowboy Bebop takes place. The space travel is an everyday thing and people leave all over the universe. Space Dandy in the business of finding new alien species, for which he gets paid. His companions are Meow, a cat-like creature and a robot QT, which is on the verge of breaking down. While the setup is similar to Cowboy Bebop, the plots differ, making Space Dandy a unique anime and not just a copy.

A portal is open on New York, cutting it off from the rest of the world and bringing all sorts of supernatural creatures into the city, now renamed Hellsalem’s Lot. Humans and new inhabitants must learn how to live together in the city, supervised by the mysterious organization called Libra. The new reality is far from smooth and conflicts often arise, and someone has to take care of it. Enters our hero, Leonardo Watch, who was given the sight of the gods, at the expense of his sister’s eyesight, the latest Libra recruit.

Pirates in space is a theme of many anime, but there is more to Coyote Ragtime Show than just that. A group of pirates, called Coyote, is hunting for treasure while being chased by a pair of policemen and a gang of robotic maids. They are also trying to stop The Milky Way Federation from bombing Graceland to dust because that is where the treasure is hidden. The first episode is one of the best anime episodes ever, unparalleled in epic scale. Definitely worth a watch, even if you are not a Cowboy Bebop fan.
